I would argue Satara is the single strongest weapon in the game, when you include Wallpuncher and Bolt.

My opinion: Tech weapons are best weapons.
Not necessarily the most satisfying, since I guess throwing knives, mantis blades or gorilla arms would match those criteria... but with a fully modded Nekomata or upgraded Breakthrough, it is comically easy to just run a ping and then pick off every enemy in a building with headshots through walls and floors from the adjacent rooftop.

Tech Sniper Rifle = C2077 "Stealth Archer" gameplay.

Never really clicked with me. Tech weapons have the worst perk tree. smart weapons perks are actually helpful to an extent especially to a netrunner. I personally don't particularly like any of the tech weapons over power or smart weapons or just going melee or throwing knives.

Tech weapons are pretty awesome, when used correctly.

Their thing is the charged shot. That means they are not for rapid fire, they are not for short distance. They are for precise and devastating long range shots.

There are two important perks to get
-'In Charge' allows you to hold a fully charged tech weapon until you release the shot. Essential to hit moving targets (by default the weapon fires once its fully charged. Thats good for stationary target, but for moving guys? Ehh...)
-'Bolt' allows you to fire a, well, Bolt. Deals 30% more damage at ~70% charge time

Appart from that, tech weapons require you to put some thought into detection. It not good for anything if you can hit a target through an entire megablock if you cant see the target, right?
So either invest some time to do some proper scouting and tag the enemies before attacking and/or get some decend eye implants. Mine can detect hidden enemies on 17.5m.

My personal favorites are the Nekotama (or even better the iconic variant, aformentioned Breaktrough) for very long ranges, and the Ticon. The Ticon can fire 3 bolts at a time and fires relativly fast (for a tech weapon). Also has a big 21 rounds mag (the Necotama has just 4).

But that's kind of my issue.

There are multiple builds that can just jump in middle of a crowd of enemies and destroy them on very hard. Using weapons that are incredible for a slow paced long ranged style seems kind of weak in comparison and well Kind of dull.

Usually I enjoy snipers, but what's the point when there are so many more efficient alternatives.

A lot of the tech weapons have low charge times, like the pistols and Satara. Some, like the Satara, can be charged with hip fire. So a lot of the tech weapons will still allow for a quick kinetic playstyle, you will just have to get used to the timing and groove of the charged shots.
