Sandayu Oda is impossible, how am I supposed to beat him?
How do I beat Sandayu Oda, he just jumps through the window and one-shots me? I have zero change to even try and run away.

there are videos on youtube that shows you. Of course things vary depending on the player's build.

Maybe use a better Build or more important get better Cyberware, especially the Cyberware that converts Dmg to Dmg over Time is kinda of a must have on Very Hard.

But many people seem to have a Problem with him. In my current Playthrough I beat him in around 60 secs (on Very Hard), I was around level 40 with full purple Cyberware

Thanks for the reply. I have watched many videos on how to beat him but in every video he is 100x slower than in my game. Like I said, i have zero change to do anything after he jump in.

I put a couple of cripple movement on him then nuked him down with the Hercules 3AX.

you do not mention what level you are or the build that you have......so if i suggest what quick hacks to use and you are not a net runner how does that help you ?

Just did it yesterday. It was great On very hard the fight took a few try's and my V had to pull out all that she could. To beat him almost to death. It was a very gratifying fight. This was done with a very evolved V Level 57 50 street cred fully developed iconic deck nearly completely moped map.

You absolutely have time to hack him or dash away when the fights begins. A lot depends on when you go fight him and your build. He doesn't scale well against higher level nets thats for damn sure. Even with a dmg scale at lvl 30ish (-55% output) he was a 4 min fight. Stacking dots on him was hilarious and he couldn't get away from the smart lock. Even when I had to hide from his smartgun bs I was arcing shots over the sea cans at him and he just ate dps non stop lol. If your stuck in there load a earlier save, maybe swap around your gear, perk points, nades, and use w/e you can for drugs. Worse comes to worse load before the parade and go get some chrome so he does't one tap you.

It kinda caught me by surprise. I am on very hard and so far the game was a bit of a cake, I don't have a lot of cyberware and it is not very up to date either. Got him to like 60% once and he starts to heal and I couldn't even get to him, when he was up to 80% he just insta killed me from full hp with one smg burst. :(
And one the other attempts he just instakills me through walls and such.
I don't feel prepared.^^

I had issues too. Insta-Killed. Then I came across a post saying that if you do not defeat first time that there was a bug (?) with the AUTOSAVE before the fight that made his attacks crazy powerful and that you needed to reload a MANUAL save before the fight and NOT let it do the AUTOSAVE. Then it was a bit better.
It can be hard, expecially if you are low level. I manage to beat him with cripple movement, memory wipe also helps, then running and hiding when he uses the smart pistol (the Weapon Glitch helps), and attacking him with monowire. Try to hit the head, to remove his mask
Personal note:

My build is a full Netrunner and Engineering and some Body build. 1st what i do is use Overloead put max overheat on him, dodge his melee attacks, use my Smart Pistol which is very powerful, then use Overload again and finishing him of with Overheat again.

I do not spare Oda i love to kill him :D

I just fought him last night on very hard with my netrunner focused build fully leveled and with all 5++ cyberware, weapons, and iconic quickhacks. It was a pretty frustrating fight, but I got through it in about half an hour. Double jumping and air dashing felt kinda mandatory for my V to avoid his melee, and for me the bigger issue was his smart rockets which would seem to go around a large number of the obstacles. I was finding that weapons were not doing as much to him until I got the helmet off him. Most of my damage to him was from Overheat quickhack I think. If what Admiral Hackett is talking about is Overclock and not Overload, then we used about the same approach. I applied the Optics quickhack then 2 Overheats. When that round of Overheat ends, turn on Overclock, apply 3 more instances of Overheat after applying another crowd control quickhack. While waiting for RAM to recover or Overclock cooldown to refresh, use smart guns. Supposedly EMP grenades are also really good on him, so I used them too. For me the Overheat was the main thing for the damage.

You definitely have to operating at a fairly advanced level to beat Oda. It took me a solid hour and many retries to put him down in my last playthrough. I also suspect the game plays tricks on you in boss fights. I had him down to below 20% right off when I got flatlined,...and it was a heck of a job to get anything near that subsequently.

I took out the Katana, blocked his first attacks. Then ran and kept shooting with a smart SMG. Lots of Dashing along. Else, being top level with top level cyberware, it was still near impossible. And it helped a bit having 'melee damage resistance' on most of the cyberware. Still took me longer than Adam, why is Oda not the end boss? He is way harder to beat!

You can essentially one shot him as a netrunner using the quickhack that does increased damage the more you had queued up before it, I think it is synapse burnout.
