It just contains the Phantom Liberty DLC. It highlights having the 2.0 update but everyone get's that so it's literally just something they mention for marketing but the only thing that differentiates from the standard version is that Phantom Liberty is bundled with it.
No info yet?
from the info they have given out. noting bar likely overall price for both in in 1 package being cheaper than buying them separate.
Ultimate Edition is just a bundle with everything that has been released since launch. It’s functionally identical to the base game + the expansion.
It’s for people haven’t purchased the game yet. In other words, the Ultimate Edition is essentially redundant for existing players for who already own the game + the expansion.
Maybe it could be worth it for players who own the base game but not the expansion.
Only the digital version.
If you are buying the physical, you get real world items aswell as the disk with everything up to patch 2.1. This can be invaluable for folks in areas with crappy internet. They won't have to download about 80gig, just any extra patches post 2.1 (like patch 2.1.1, the patch I hope fixes the melee finisher and sonic shock bugs...if it ever arrives lol)
(This excludes phantom liberty for PlayStation 5 users tho, from what I have heard, they will still need to download the expansion.)
Not really, extra 8% discount for new players who decided to buy the vanilla+the expansion.
