Crowded, narrow, filthy, dangerous, decayed. Neon everywhere and so cyber-atmospheric when it's raining
Can't deny the mesmerizing nature of Japantown and there's something cozy about Northside, too, like you say, the red lights give it a warmth.
Poor Arroyo, if only they had installed some lights about the place it might have achieved a vibe like Northside. But they do have that diner with a good city view. Yeah...I'm struggling to think of a 2nd positive about that district
Badlands is both tranquil and lonely, but deserves a nod, if for nothing more than driving back toward the city and enjoying the views along the way!
My least favorite is probably Pacifica. Somewhere that would've looked great if it had ever been finished (in world, I mean, had the Pacifica project seen completion, with palms all lit up and such, bustling casinos and amusements), but as it is, basically just one giant derelict building - and those only have so much charm.
Bland Arroyo still manages to be useful and productive to Night City on the whole whereas Pacifica is just an unproductive district that does nothing. Even the dissaray there feels lazy at best lol.
