Satori (Quickdraw with Bleed)

Just a bit confused as to how I am supposed to proc the quickdraw attack of the iconic weapon. From the looks of it I am supposed to hold M1 while the weapon is sheathed (either by sprinting, or waiting to put it away)

Clicking M1 only does the normal quickdraw which doesn't apply bleed, while holding M1 puts you into the strong attack animation (and doesn't apply bleed either). Anyone able to explain this?

Pretty sure you need to put the weapon away (B key). Then when you hold M1 you'll do a quick slash before going into the strong attack position.
