Not very interesting fight, extremely straight forward up to the point where i got oneshot from his missile attack. Didnt even bother trying a second time on the same difficulty level since it just felt like bad game design.
Lowered the difficulty before the fight and set it back up to max after.
Then for whatever reason, I tried again on the fifth try and defeated him, seemingly arbitrarily. I'm not sure what I did different which tipped the balance - maybe I stayed really close to him so he never tried to launch the insta-kill missiles.
In any case, it was not a very interesting fight for me ("die four times until the fifth time you suddenly don't, and now you win! Yay!") and I'm probably never coming back to it again. Winning a binary challenge with no reason is only marginally less frustrating than losing a binary challenge with no reason.
I'll just roll around the main map with the BaXingChong and complete all the side quests and then uninstall the game at 100%.
I suppose the gamers who demanded "I wAnT a SeNsE oV pRiDe An AkKoMpLiShMenT!!11!" got their wish. I'll be happy if I never do that boss fight ever again.
The BaXingChong has changed a lot in v.2.0 though. It's now one of the few actual rocket launchers that V can pick up and use multiple times.
I killed him on hard without any problem and fight was way too easy, going on very hard but I think its don't change too much cause netrunner melt everything in few sec
That's what I did with my squishy netrunner/stealth build. Though I never managed the second takedown (was very close a couple of times) because he eventually glitched midair next to the platforms and I could just freely shoot him instead. This was on very hard.
My only advice is to learn the animation that plays just before he uses it and GTFO of your current position. I'm pretty sure the missile don't track, there's just a shtload of them and they have a stupid huge AOE. Some orange hit indicators will show up on the ground where the missiles will land, but just keep moving until you're well clear of them. If you've got it unlocked, air dash is your best friend, especially with the double jump legs; a jump-airdash-double jump combo will put you on the other side of the room, well clear of the attack.
