Monowire, Mantis blades, or Katanas?

I tried that, and really wanted to like it, but i missed the ability to "hack" targets. Holding them in place with Cripple Movement and leaping onto them is usually enough to perform a finisher move, if it doesn't just kill them outright.

Ofcourse, a point in Blunt's favour is that earthquake slam... Do it in the right place and you can throw cars at your enemies LOL.

I've played netrunner twice (before 1.6 without weapon and 2.0 with monowire+smartguns).
But now I'm playing "ninja". Started with gun+silencer, and overwatch and katana (from "the Office" gig). Later made Mantis blades. All is 5++ but I really don't see difference between Mantis blades and katana. I would say katana is even better, because it shock on top of my shock-a-wave and gives bleeding (not like I care, since everyone dies fast); plus less blocking the screen.

Not sure why katana and mantis blades coexist. They are the same. Doing the same leap. Theoretically you spend less stamina with mantis. But once you are really confortable with sandy going in the middle of the enemy's crew, then you already have all perks to not care of stamina.

I saw that Bokako(?) katana is the best(from Wakako is the best), but when I've tried it on 2.12 it's just 3-combo, not endless anymore. Hence no usage for it either.

Main thing is do you want to equp 3 range weapons or only 2.
And do you want to do the boxing quest and/or always have the option of not killing guys via fists... or not.

And then... would you willingly have both your arms cut off for prostetic ones? Think of how much sex would suck for the other person.... and possibly yourself, too. Detracts from the visual touching scenes, anyways. (though...wearing gloves does that too for a lot of games.)

You pretty much have to use mantis or katanas to raise shinobi skill. And mantis blades don't offer anything that the iconic blade doesn't give you (the free lunge) that you get during the Heist mission.
