Can't Loot Anything?

I have encountered a bug where I am unable to loot anything on the ground. My character will "pick up the item" and it will disappear but it wont go into my inventory. I have been unable to pick up anything but eddies. I have been able to "equip" things from other bodies but thats the only way i can get past it. I have restarted multiple times as well as Loaded prior saves and verified files. Anybody have this issue?

You sure you're not picking up "broken" weapons? Those are automatically dismantled into crafting components. And most of them seems to break since patch. It's a bit weird since they were working just a few seconds prior. Oh well.

Yeah, this caught me out when I first started playing 2.0. When you highlight the weapon on the ground it won't have all the weapon stats and just under the name it will have BROKEN. Only about 10% of weapons that drop on the ground are intact now. You can still get functional weapons from the bodies sometimes. Just not nearly as much as before 2.0.

It took me ages to figure out that you had unlimited heal items too, the number just lists how many charges it has. I was running off before I died thinking that I wanted my heal item count to be higher than 2 before I started using them.

My issue is that even when it says i can equip it, I cant pick it up but I will look at it next time I loot and see if I can see that

This happens for me -- sometimes. Then other times looting works properly. "Something" is up with the looting (algorithm?) mechanic, tho.

Actually you have to look at an item and in the bottom right of the screen it says "Broken", which means it is automatically disassembled as it's useless.

I have been looting Iconic items and they are not entering my inventory. I have reloaded a fight to ensure I am not disassembling them. They aren't blueprints either, like others have suggested. It appears as if they aren't populating in my inventory whatsoever.

Fresh install, fresh save, no mods.

you need to verify files. I did that and it let me start picking up items again
