but you can upgrade the lower tiers into the next higher tier...
5 tier 1's into 1 tier 2.... 5 tier 2's into 1 tier 3.... and so on....
its not that bad really..... dismantling weapons gives you 5 components of its tier and tier + gives 7.... so dismantling a tier 1 for instance is equal to 1 tier 2 component...
so 1 tier 4 weapon dismantled would be equal to 1 tier 5 component... which thanks to level scaling means if your at the level where those are dropping then your gonna be getting a lot of em...
in comparison early game I can get a tier 1 cyberdeck to tier 3 before reaching level 10.... and a tier 5 by time im close to level 20...
As you reach higher levels, you will start to find Tier 5 weapons and clothing items everywhere. The hardest part is deciding whether to upgrade your Iconic weapons or your cyberware. Once you get to the 5+ or 5++ level, it's _very_ expensive.
You don't say what level you're at...once you get past 35 or 40, Tier 5 stuff is everywhere. I guess it's a little grindy...I enjoy the strategy involved in allocating my resources, but everyone's take on the process is different.
