Do you think when Johnny played the guitar he had to actively think where to put his finger for each chord, or did his prosthetic just automatically play the right note for him?

Based on the flashbacks, he played Left-Handed; the prosthetic was on strumming duty.
Damn you are right!

Well as i remember the one performance I saw he was waving a gun around and shooting the crowd. Kind of disrupts guitar playing. am not even sure he played the thing, just frontin on stage with it. I like the character but he is a bit of a ♥♥♥♥.
Yes i think Kerry was Lead guitar, Johnny was either Rhythm or played Sid Vicious style (unplugged and just a stage prop)

I was thinking about it in terms of phantom limbs. I'm guessing muscle memory applies here - it's just there's a metal prosthetic to make it happen.

Not to mention we have touch screens in this day and age.... what's to say there's not a way to generate a low yield ionic/static field in that metal arm of his that records disruptions in its field and translates it to a sensory feeling?
i was thinking it work the same way keyboard macros work, i press 1 key and the software does multiple commands for me. I was thinking he could think C chord and his robot arm would just do it rather than thinking of where to put his fingers
