combat still easy. but unpleasant. I like a robocop against robocop. It's just take more time to kill and make look the weapon like ♥♥♥♥. Lower weapon should be effective too. Not only iconic.
For Pistols you kinda have to play Stealth and then you can 1-Shot 1-2 Bars Enemies. Only 3 Bars Enemies need way more Hits, so best thing you can do is to change to a Revolver. I wouldnt use a Assault Rifle atleast on Very Hard
There's a few good ones, but some of them, including iconic ones, are a trap.
Pistols work best if you have good classic FPS type of aim, where you fire from the hip and aim for the head. I love the sound that Deadeye headshots make. They also make for the best stealth weapons with their good headshot bonus, high damage per shot and decent armor penetration. Use Reboot Optics for additional headshot multiplier or use Sandy for more precise aiming. It's a bit high risk high reward because every miss hurts you bad with low capacity of handguns. Tamayura and Nue have best damage per shot but some rapidly firing pistols can out-DPS them.
Assault rifles and SMGs largely use same perks but I'd say ARs win in most situations. You'll need to upload lots of Reboot Optics, Overheat, control hacks or similar to get the most out of high RoF of SMGs, but there are some neat iconic ones like Raiju which should be pretty good off the bat. I'm not specced for those guns, but I used the iconic Kyubi slotted with the re-usable Firecracker mod (from Chimera Core) that turns its bullets explosive. Doesn't work with ricochets though, so plan accordingly. To make the most out of ARs, though, you really need the capstone perk Salt in the Wound. It will double the damage you deal for every 7 hits you land so it's pretty important. Another good thing about those weapons is that you also get access to dash perks, which is one of the best new features.
It just add time to the fight not difficulty. I'm playing CS-GO online so this IA is nothing but it's not fun at all compared to 1.63 for the fights.
Overall though even Hard feels only a little harder than Normal, so I'm going to try bumping to Very Hard except maybe for bosses... we'll see.
I am one-shotting skull enemies with The Order on my short range brawler and 2 shotting mobs and 4 shotting skulls with my gunslinger using revolvers, on very hard.
you didn't read me. I'm in the begining of 2.1. With NCPD missions in Watson.
please read before comment it's about skill because i'm talking about the fun of the game.
I not the only one to complain about this change.
I didn't put mod but yes they definitly changed something. I found the fights boring as ♥♥♥♥ now
