Do I Need to Complete Phantom Liberty Achievements

I'm trying to get the game to show up in my "completionist showcase". I've completed all the base game achievements (44/57 achievements). I do not own Phantom Liberty, am I going to have to buy the DLC and do the remaining achievements in order to get the "perfect game" on my steam profile?

Not sure why you'd think it'd show up as perfect if you don't have all the achievements.

i figured they wouldn't paywall getting the perfect game seeing as i did all the base game achievements. I thought the DLC achievements would be like locked unless you bought it, but alright.

No, that's not how steam works in... pretty much any game. There are a few that have achievements on the dlc themselves, but for the most part, dlc achievements are added to the total list. See: Binding of Isaac Rebirth now being up to something like 600 total achievements for 100% when at launch it was like 150.

Interesting, guess they want people to play the game more aha. Thanks for your help
