PC version no longer lets you loot a Legendary DR 12 Quasar from Patricia ?

Trying to get the Legendary DR-12 Quasar from Patricia in the "Enter the Totentaz" segment of the "Second Conflict" mission.

I've done this part 4 times now, killed Patricia, attempted to loot the Legendary DR-12 Quasar...

Only the game has told me 4 times in a row the DR -12 Quasar that Patricia dropped is 'broken' and when I loot it, its immediately removed from my inventory and broken down into Tier 1 parts.

Very weird.

Never seen this before. Anybody else having this happen? Did the 2.0 update change this?

Yes. I got the blue level crafting spec. But I am told Patricia drops the Legendary version of the gun.

I've run the part where you kill Patricia and her 3 henchmen to save Beth Isis 10 times now. 9 times = most of the weapons they drop are 'broken' are are instantly broken down into Tier 1 parts when you loot them.

The 10th time, Patrica finally dropped an unbroken DR-12 Quasar...that was Tier 1.

Going to try a few more times.

And the 11th time, Patricia dropped a Purple Level 4 version of the DR-12-Quasar.

apparently, I'm going have to keep playing it over and over until she chance drops the Legendary.

The whole item system has been revamped - and the drops are both random and depending on the character level.

It's pretty easy - once you get the first legendary drops you can run to any "pistol dealer" and try to get the legendary crafting recipe. Works with every weapon type btw.

After hitting the appropriate level you'll get swarmed with legendary weapons - as enemies only drop those. So don't bother looking for legendaries early on - they simply don't exist yet. Even iconics are scaled down to your level.

Ah, thanks. Didn't know this.

BTW, about the 25th time I killed Patricia, she finally dropped a Tier 5 Orange version of the DR-12 Quasar...but it wasn't Legendary. Only has around 45 DPS.

V is currently level 41.
