you can use weaponized vehicles in the "Beast In Me" races

I thought they would disable the weapon system because it would be unbalanced, but nope. Just purposefully let all the cars go in front of me and shredded them with my Shion Samum. You don't need to worry about not finishing at no.1 spot if there's only one racer participating XD.

Only thing to watch out for is not to get 3 stars because it seems Claire will just jump out the car and fail the race when that happens.

OP ... Not much of a role-player are you ? Killing Nomads, Mox & Valentinos, just so you can win a race ? I mean it's okay to do it, but that would pretty much make you on the same level as Malstroem, Animals, Scavs or evwen the evil corpo's :-D

It really doesn't take much to blow them up. I just concentrate my fire on one and it takes less 5 seconds to destroy it. For the 3rd race I killed everyone.

LOL well technically I didn't kill any nomads cause I think they only showed up on the 2nd race which you are forced to use Beast. The 3rd and 4th race are just corpo and gangs, I murdered so many of them in cold blood already, what's a few more, plus in a completely legal way lol?

i noticed that i could shoot the car weapons but it was kinda pointless since i was just in 1st place the whole way in every race (cept the last one since that one has a different objective) lol

I can't believe that claim, I railed on the car that kept passing me and best I got was a bumper and a door to fall off.

You can see for your self. For the 3rd race, Luigi's car has a lot more health than the rest, so his takes the longest to destroy, but you absolutely can explode it like everyone else. For the last mission, Samson's car is scripted to be destroyed only when it arrives at a particular location so it's protected unlike all the other racers.

btw you can just quickhack all the cars and you can take out even the unpenetrable cars

yeah, I was way more savage than that and nothing happened, and I wasn't shooting luigis car, I was firing indiscriminately, idk if its a glitch for yours or mine.

That's exactly what you'll want to do. Blow them up.
Shooting them wont cause them to slow down, unless you actually get a good shot at their tires. You can actually deflate their wheels and watch them struggle around sharp turns. I did that to a 6th street racer's car and he pretty much swayed too far out and hit a wall upon making the turn.

But if you're going to shoot, aim for the driver. A couple good head shots will stop the car. Or, blow it up! Doesn't take much out of a pistol with high damage power, let alone a set of built in machine guns if your car has that feature. Remember you can prepare your pistols before you race, to ensure you get a good one to knock out racers with.

I love combat racing in 1st person view. Took some practice but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty exhilarating and cincematic.

Yup. When things look crazy, I hack their breaks and then go after the remaining cars with relative ease. Depending on your build and how much ram you have.
