Smearing / ghosting?
A while ago i noticed smearing/ghosting/no idea what it is in the game.
While driving faster it looks like the car is leaving its ghosts behind that cannot keep up.
Looks like in this screen. The car to the left of the centre. It's leaving behind the lights but when watching it you can see the whole model, not jsut the lights. Not sure how to describe it. When you're driving it's more visible.

should probably state the res & general graphics settings used.

If its with path tracing with a res lower than 4k/DLSS qualtiy (i play at 3440x1440 UW) its very noticeable the blur and smearing.
So i switch back to RT Psycho and it looks amazing again. PT + RR is a big letdown for me.

1080p on a 1660 super. No RT and no upscaling. just high settings. runs 55-60 fps mostly.

Not sure in that case other than the usual troubleshooting (latest drivers etc etc) that u prob dont wanna hear :)
But that doesnt look normal particularly if no RT or upscaling is set.

It's hard to spot but visible behind these two cars:

Like 2-4 ghosts fading gradually. Or I'm driving too fast :P

yeah i see it - guessing this is with motion blur and film grain off?

Do you have FSR on? That causes some pretty noticeable ghosting while driving for me, especially at higher speeds.

Yup, Grain and blur is off.

Don't use that, getting 55-60 without FSR or the intel thing. Perhaps the gmae is still using something similar on its own... will check.

Hey! I have the same problem on my PS5. Seems to be another bug in the game, not actually a problem with your specific system.

The game forces TAA when none of the Super Resolution tech is enabled, which is able to cause this effect due to the same temporal nature.
