And to stay on topic... V, every day of the week.
lol'd
I for one like anime alot, and edgerunners was meh, not long enough to like any of its characters and a very generic story.
If you put David into the game, I can easily imagine him just like another cyberpsycho we deal.
V literally solo every hardest mission in game, we're not talking how player build their demigod V, just story and what V has done. David really can't stand a chance.
This means V can have the absolute best sandvistant available and entire arsenal of guns including a gun that screw over machines and implants when you fire it. Combine that with the absolute best sub dermal armor, wearing maxed out legendary gear with armadillo skin and more.
Assuming a build with a sandvistan his will absolutely be able to keep up with david and he'll have much better weapons and armor. David will die quickly
And V vs David, depend, if its just normal cyberware then V without doubt is much stronger. If its David with Sandevistan and Exoskelet in the end then i think David would win. I think David could beat Smasher but he was more focused on keeping Lucy safe then to fight Adam.
i honestly don't care much for that style either. especially when franchises like final fantasy and resident evil bring the detailed CG that put major studios to shame! however, edge runners is STILL worth a watch for the story.
pretty sure D & V would've joined forces
To be honest, i'm not really a very big fan of anime. Due the fact that everything needs to be so overdone and over exaggerated.
There are only a handful of anime's I really like, which are Serial Expirements Lain, Ergo Proxy, Akira, Atlered Carbon, Bladerunner and especially Ghost in the Shell and afcourse Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I do have some criticism like some scene's are a bit to much explosions and voilence. No, i'm not talking about the gore and such, that's something I like. But when David put on the suit and killing a entire army is a bit to much for my taste. But overal, I do like the anime very much, only the fighting scene's at the end where a bit to much over exaggerated. But the characters, story and detail are top notch.
Now back on topic, who would win, David or V? Well, V afcourse, he or she (depends what you picked) is the strongest character alive in Night City. David is clumsy and still have a "childish" mind. Yes, he eventually grow up but his decision making is kinda narrow and also make decisions without thinking first. You can see many hints throughout the anime. This doesn't make David as strong as V, Adam Smasher or even characters like Goro Takemura.
He also thought that he was special, while he wasn't. Which gave David also a massive weakness. But he has the potential to become one of the strongest, if he works on himself and gain experience.
I'd say that David is equal to a level 15 to 25 level threat for V.
Endgame V is simply a force of nature in Night City. The perks are too much.
No way, man. Adam stomped the ♥♥♥♥ out of him.
Not to mention Adam's Sandy is way better, he's got nearly 70 years of combat experience, and a modified Dragoon body. The Exo-Skeleton is good, but it's no Dragoon. Arasaka has been trying and failing to top the Dragoon for years.
David is just some punk with high cyberware capacity.
First shot Adam dealt to David was in his back when he rushed towards Faraday to kill him. And since then if you pay attention Adam was never his focus of anything, he just tried to save Lucy. Dont forget that suit was meant for Adam witch means it should be more powerful then his current but they didnt know if he could handle it, that is why they used David as test subject .
Bruh he literally Sandy's over David's and rips his Exo-Suit to pieces. You must have missed my edit but he's got a better Sandevistan, 60+ years of combat experience, and a heavily modified Dragoon body- tech that Arasaka has been trying and failing to top for years. Just because it was meant for Smasher doesn't mean it's better than the Dragoon. It's not. He even mocks it before he tears the gravity wells off.
He absolutely annihilates David.
