full-auto tech weapons stop hitting through walls
got a tech smg I like to use, but it seems to stop shooting through walls after 7-8 shots. Just wanted to confirm if this is actually the case or if I am somehow missing even though I can see the guy's silhouette.

They don't technically shoot through walls. They auto target certain body parts and activate a tracking feature in the bullets after they're fired a certain distance. If it looks like you're shooting through a wall, you're actually firing around it. Try not aiming directly at your target. They bend around walls and such.

Tech guns only penetrate if charged iirc, which would be only the first shot or couple shots on an auto I guess.
Release and charge again.

Get the buzzsaw smg if you want to constantly hit people behind cover and walls. The nerfed it after the 2.0 update but its still pretty good.
