Cyberware in NUSA ending?
Anyone that tried this can tell me which cyberware, if any can be used after this ending? I see lots of mixed messages about not being able to use 'combat' cyberware which I understand to be ones with active abilities (Which a few articles back up) Or no cyberware at all apart from the eyes as a lot of reddit posts imply.

The full ending is on YouTube and you are limited to your personal link if I remember correctly.

Since V isn't blind and crippled, I assume cyberware that's only at human limits is still ok. Anything that would put more load on the brain would kill them.

Sure but I never see any footage or comments of people who have tried to use x y z after the ending. I am under the impression passive implants like armour will still work but just looking for confirmation for the sake of clarity.

Hmm? I assume the gameplay worked the same as it does in the base game, which is to rewind before the final mission.

No, the new NUSA ending lets you carry on in 2079.

Hmm ... that's interesting if true; didn't buy the DLC so can't test it.

The game ends after that ending and kicks you back to the main menu after the credits. There is no continuing after the ending. You have to reload before the ending if you want to continue playing that character.

You are just one of the faces in the crowd now, your merc life is over so no more playing.

thats not entirely accurate. the game is over at that point, once you get through the ending, you can reload before the last mission. IMO the new ending is one of the worst endings.

If you go through with the Tower ending, that's it. There's no gameplay thereafter. Its distinct from King of Cups, Swords, Pentacles and Wands, which are achievements that denote how you ended the quest/DLC, not the game.

The NUSA ending pretty much just opens up the option for you to call Reed to go for the Tower ending. So you can finish Phantom Liberty, hang the option to call Reed in the air, then go do the other endings or finish off your quests.

As per what Viktor says, V's neural receptors are more or less deaf/blind, so she is confined to using simple implants like optics and possibly personal links but they do not have the capacity for complex stuff like Netrunning or Combat Implants. Generally anything that requires a fast a brain-machine response is out. Think of it as having a paralyzed hand, its there but useless.

That said, if we go by the tabletop RPG, V isn't totally screwed since she could still theoretically avail of Bioware to back up those 60 levels worth of combat experience. Which are essentially non-electronic, non-mechanical augmentations of the human body. Think steroids and nano-engineered organs like what the Animals use. To say nothing of power armor which does exist in the setting. Missed opportunity really for CDPR to explore a facet of the setting that they've ignored.

Point of fact there is a gang called the Inquisitors who all other gangs hate cause their schtick is they go around tearing apart cyborgs. Like leave them alive but mangled on the street with all their implants ripped out and neatly piled up next to them. And they rely solely on combat training and bioware to do it.

Interesting.
