500+ Hours in Cyberpunk?
What do people do in this game to get this amount of hours? I have taken my time in my current save (First play-through). I have just reached the last gig and mostly everything from here is story. I think my character is around level 50 and I started net running a bit late in the build. Are people restarting fresh after completion of the game? I can see maybe 20 hours from now and the game is fully complete.

With no New Game+ (Outside of mods), what do people do to stay engaged in the game for longer periods of time? I do not have Phantom Liberty and am still working on finishing the main story.

I have around 90 to 100 hours for each playthrough, 100% each one (all gigs, NCPD thingies and all side missions). I'm actually doing two more right now.

I am closing in on 1100 hours. I have played through start to finish six times before my newest run for Phantom Liberty.

I just really enjoy Night City more than anything and spend most of my play-throughs on the side quests and missions rather than the main story. I've played each origin male and female and tried different builds and RP attitudes and found enough variation to make it satisfying for me.

That said, after Phantom Liberty (which I am LOVING), it will be a very very long time before I return, if ever. I have too many other games to get to these days.

Play each Lifepath. Play as Male or Female V. use different builds, explore different possibilities, different approaches to gigs and side jobs. Play through to different endings. Enemies frequently behave/attack differently...esp. true in 2.0.

Maybe there's not enough novelty for you...that's okay. Maybe you've gotten everything you want from the game. Personally, I'm finding the game very replayable. If you check the Achievements stats, you'll notice that many players don't get to many of the things in the game, That's something _I_ don't understand.

Simple. Different playthroughs. Different ways to play the game. The game is just that enjoyable given all you can do in the game with gigs, character side missions and now the PL dlc. And after all that's done, THEN that's where mods come in.

It's very easy to explore this world from A to Z, play all 3 possible classes and their character paths, both male and female. With the expansion, the game has 10 possible ways to complete the whole thing and in the first few runs you never take everything in completely and miss one Lots of cool things and options or possibilities for various characters that you'll see again with or after 2.0 and PL at some point and decisions made turn out to be wrong after hundreds of hours of play and apart from that, the use of mods plays a huge role in CP2077, all of which are tested and tried out want .. because this is the game of unlimited possibilities. I've almost played 700 hours and still haven't seen or tried everything that's possible in this game.

Yeah for the base game, if you complete all gigs, Cyberpsycho quests, as many side quests as you think you can before continuing with the main story quests (romance characters included), & any NCPD scanner quests you come across, you can sink anywhere from 80-130 hrs in a single playthrough. Also depends on how you play (your build, stealthy, bruiser, or guns blazing) and level of difficulty.

My latest playthrough, I had completed I think ~225 quests (missed two that I know of - one by accident & another by choice) by the time I got to the "point of no return" save.

As others have stated, playing as both male & female, playing to romance different characters, playing to experience different endings, and playing with mods (until an update to the game breaks them) can all extend play time.
This is the only game I never fast travel. I always drive myself. The game is just so gorgeous, especially when driving in a stormy weather with path tracing with all the neon reflections <3

Also taking my time, I'm at 130 hours in my current save, finished the base campaign (completed 2 endings) as well as Phantom Liberty's one ending. But I still have lots of side quests and gigs untouched. I don't know how are people finishing everything 100% under 100 hours.

Oh, thats really easy: I take my time and enjoy the game. I mean, I'm not in a hurry or so.

Started a new playtrough, the 3rd, when 2.00 dropped a month ago. I'm now on 100 hours in it and maybe half way through. The base game that is, havent even touched PL.
So yeah, about 500 hours in total so far.

I played through 1.2 till about half way then they updated the game again so I restarted for 1.5

then around 1.6 I was modding but only got about halfway through the game again before a micro update corrupted my save.

Restarted again for the 2.0 and Phantom Liberty and will play the game entirely vanilla until I finish it now. Most prior play throughs I spent doing side content.

Once I’m done and the mini updates are over I’ll begin another play through with some mods.

Also I don’t fast travel. I enjoy traveling through night city.

I just really like the game.

Played through it a few times. Whilst there are different builds to try etc, the main draw for me is simply the city itself.

500 hours on GOG account & 445 in steam.
It's story and charecters for me, plus NC vibes to top it all.

Can't get my self to play Witcher 3. Cyberpunk aesthetic rubs me the right way.

Got Cyberpunk on day one.
Me classic roleplayer from the days when Cyberpunk was Pen&Paper.
Cyberpunk is my favorite interactive action movie, with The Witcher and RDR2 on positions 2 and 3.
First time played male Nomad, not knowing the city. Samurai fan. ~200 hrs.
Second playthrough female Streetkid, Silverhand lover.
This time V refused to acknowledge the urgency of having to deal with the relic. The idea of trusting her life to a stranger -Brigitte- did not appeal to her at all. So she followed her goal to become Queen of Heywood. Did every last side gig in every part of town. Became millionaire merc. Eventually decided to risk the gig with Brigitte.
Then Songbird -Phantom Liberty- called.
Dogtown has become my new home.
500+ hrs and still all the vanilla story missions after Brigitte to do.
Cruising the streets, doing jobs for El Capitan, beating up Barghest goons, listening to DJ Elba radio. Happy, very happy days. Absolutely no hurry to get rid of Johnny Silverhand. Never gets lonely with him.
Third playthrough will be as Silverhand hating corpo pig.
I hate to think about leaving NC one day.

Im pushing 900 with my fourth playthrough. Exploration...there is a lot of stuff around the place that a lot of casual players don't find...even just browsing through the cemetery thing turns them up.
