Favorite Throwing Knives
I'm really having a blast with this as my playstyle, but I think I've only found one iconic knife that I like so far (Stinger), and I just randomly swap in tomahawks or neurotoxin knives for the last two slots. Nehan looks fun too, but since I solely want to be throwing knives, that didn't help me too much.

What knives are you enjoying or recommending using these days?

There are barely any good knives besides Headhunter or Bluefang. Both I use.

Either way, the most satisfying thing about Throwing Knifes is the ping. 😔👌

Blue Fang is good, coz it stuns insta if you sneak. Rest of the knives suck imo.

Agaou

Agaou and just watch them legs flying -this must be the most fun weapon added to PL. All knifes are good for different things. Headhunter - 200% crit for next hit with weapon = great for targets you can't one shot with knife. Blue fang stuns so great boss killer except long cooldown. Hansens knife is great against sandy users/animals that rush you as it immobilise targets(almost like hack) , bad head damage tho.

I haven't found anything to rival Blue Fang in utility.

There's an axe t hat does an EMP on crit and with a well made throwing build you crit almost non-stop anyway, that one is pretty fun, but the EMP doesn't help stealth at all, so I rarely use it.

The knife 5++, has 200% headshot damage, the rest are at 150%. Can also take 2 mods, no iconic can hold a candle.

Was actually coming here to bring this up too - having two additional mods on a regular weapon seems like itd be better than a lot of the iconics, but even at my currently level of 55, I'm still too afraid to use up mods on my weapons which is silly lol. (I'm personally loving Agaou right now, but the shock aoe keeps getting me in trouble with the police lol)

Yes, especially since you can typically get the iconic anyway but the preferred tier 5++ with two open slots is a rarity.

Outside of very rare mods you only seem to be able to find in the set chests that give you like 5 gold items, you can just do circuits of weapon venders and pick up a ton of the other mods, and just craft them to the higher spec.

I did this whenever I came across a weapon vender and ended up with like 5 of each of the tier 5 mods for the weapons use without needed to grind it out.

This feels so backwards, but you're probably right lol. Though can't you swap a mod with a mod anyways?

I had no idea 'set chests' were even a thing, nor that you could upgrade mods, but this makes a ton of sense. I've been too afraid to use mods on my weapons til now, but I have 800k and my cyberware is mostly done, so I might as well spend it on something like that lol.

The good high yield chests are usually a bit hidden, I use the word "set" as they seem to be in the exact same place each playthrough. I tested with 2 separate saves.

You can not swap mods in 2.0, which is why 2 open slot 5++ are highly sought after.
