Can anyone explain the "Point of No Return" for Phantom Liberty? Rooftop at Misty's
Without spoiling for me, btw.

I'm sitting on the rooftop, and Johnny talks to me. What does the game mean I'll be locked out of gigs until I finished the main story? Which main story? Phantom Liberty? The main Cyberpunk story?

I never finished the main story of Cyberpunk so I suppose this is my first serious/actual playthrough. When should I do this particular segment? Right before finishing the base game's main story?

I'm asking because to my understanding, PL is a middle of the stor kind of expansion. From what limited knowledge I have of this, this is an alternate ending right? So what does this mean for someone who never finished the base game? I won't experience both without reloading this point?

The game will autosave a point of no return checkpoint but yes, it's an alternative finish to the main storyline finishes.

Consistency wise, if I finish the base game's main story, I'll never see this ending unless I reload, correct?

well once you finish the main stories endings from Embers, after the ending you'll get the "Just one more gig" option in the menu, it'll give you some rewards for finishing the ending you got (though you wont keep any of the things you picked up on the way), the ending unlocked through PL should still be available to do regardless, as it is it's own gig.

the "point of no return" for Phantom Liberty is the main quest "i've seen that face before" you immediately go into "firestarter" which is the point of no return quest and can't be avoided or abandoned.
