Male V sounds like a lovable goofball, more like Jackie, which I enjoy but it just doesn't have the same weight to it when you get to those more emotional parts of the story like when V is cursing Johnny and the relic. The slang and informal speak fits her voice like a glove, and on Male V it can feel too forced, which is why I wish we had different speaking options.
Plus Judy is by far the most popular side character, and she'll only romance Fem V. It would probably be more evenly split if Judy wasn't only interested in women.
My main issue with Cyberpunk 2077 has always been this game promised choice, but didn't deliver. We really only have one life path because they all bleed into something that feels like Streetkid no matter what you choose. Corpo feels the most unnatural for the story and how V acts. Fem V's voice actor is so good at selling V that it starts to feel more like a linear path that was laid out for us rather than our own V where we make all the choices. I don't buy her or the other voice actor for something like Corpo life path, or a colder type of character in general. Her performance is too gritty and raw, and his gives golden retriever energy.
Litterally the opposite for me, I don't see what's wrong with male V and the storyline at all.
Guess it's just a matter of tastes in the end, all arguments saying female V is better in this thread storywise, I could just say the same in reverse.
Only people who don't care about armor or clothing. This is literally the case for nearly every RPG, the armor and clothing is always superior for the female models.
It's monotone and scruffy. I can't listen to it when I see youtube videos, so the idea to having to listen to that voice for 80+ hours is painful.
Not in the world of Cyberpunk. Spider Murphy, Santiago and Rogue sounded cold, distant and rough to you? Did T-Bug and Jackie?
I play dude in every game i can.
