Trying to up my armor

I'm googling ways to up my armor, I'm lvl 43 and my armor is only at 439, that seems really low to me, I have the best Integumentary mods I can currently get, all at T5. I also read about armadillo, but I don't seem to see/find that anywhere. Also, there are people saying to get certain perks to help with armor, but every single one I look for in my trees does not exist. Like "True Craftsman" I cannot find that anywhere in any of my skill trees. I don't know, maybe I'm blind, but I really need to get my armor up higher. I'm taking too many owies.

The perks you're looking at online are most likely from before update 2.0, which overhauled perks.

There's skeleton cyberware that will greatly improve your armor, like epimorphic skeleton. Also, other cyberware such as legs have an armor bonus built in. That's the simplest way to up armor.

[Rhapsody]

Epimorphic Skeleton, Rara Avis, Dense Marrow for skeleton should be pretty good.

For integumentary, get Pain Editor, Chitin and Cellular Adapter (with Tech perk) or something else.
