phone calls fps drops

I think this has always been a thing for me but the cpu gets destroyed whenever someone calls me on the phone. rest of the game runs 60-80 fps then a phone call brings me to 40.

Yeah i just noticed it too. Playing at 60 fps and whenever i get a call its around 40 until it ends. This didnt happen to me a year ago or years back when i played the game. Weird.

Same here. It's really obvious during the El Capitan vehicle missions where he stays on the call, tanking the fps while driving. Only solution for that is to exit and re-enter the vehicle to cancel the call. The fps goes back to normal after that.

We should have the option to disable their faces in the call window. If not then let us have the option to freeze their faces so they arent moving.. or if its some kind of bug then fix it.

Find the setting in options that stops them from calling you and makes them text you instead. Doesn't stop every phone call, does stop the vast majority though...

There may be better fixes... But who answers the phone these days?

The solution is to use the hang up mod which adds a keybind to cyber engine tweaks. I use the END key which hangs up the call and returns performance back to normal.
