I think there's a memory leak in Dogtown with RayTracing ON
I was playing the game perfectly fine on my 2070 Super at 1080p on Ray Tracing Ultra, I just turn Sun Shadows Ray Tracing Off because I feel Sun Shadows don't look right with ray tracing and the game runs beautifully in both dense and more sparsely populated areas.
Well, the DLC just kicked in, awesome the way it auto started right after a fantastic mission, mind you this is my first time playing the game and when I reached DogTown I noticed a huge and I mean huge drop in performance. Even setting Ray Tracing for Lighting to medium didn't change anything but turning it off makes DogTown run smoothly.

my specs:
16GB RAM
2070 SUPER 8GB
AMD Ryzen 9 3900X

Haven't had any framerate problems until now, it can't be that this particular area is so much better and more demanding, I feel there's some sort of VRMA Leak going on. There is no slowdown on my computer's performance as a whole, I can alt and tab out of the game just fine and do whatever smoothly, turning off Ray Tracing instantly fixes the framerate too so I assume it's something that could be fixed with future updates I guess.

game has a memory leak regardless of RT. Play for 3 hours and go back and compare fps.

I'm 75 hours into it and honestly haven't had any performance problems until Dogtown so maybe I just never noticed anything I dunno

Never seen anything like "memory leak", your CPU is just not up to the task, especially at 1080p. After update 2.0, the game is more CPU intensive, especially in dogtown.

dogtown is more demanding than the rest of the game. it has more detail packed into smaller areas (like the stadium market area)
the DLC is also why they upped the min spec requirements so its expected that you'll notice a stark dip in performance using the same settings as the rest of the game if you are on lower hardware.
