How does crafting work now in 2.0? Is technical ability still required?
Before if you wanted to craft some of the best guns in the game you had to put a bunch of points into the technical ability stat to gain access to the perks which allowed you to craft the highest of tiers of weapons. Looking through the revamped 2.0 perk trees I don't see anything in technical ability that has to do with crafting. How do you craft legendary weapons in the game now, and are there any stat or perk investments required to do so?

Doesn't require anything. Get the blueprint, get the materials, you can craft.

A vast improvement! Now you don't have to put 20 into technical ability for every build.

Except it looks like you still do if you want the best cyberwear lol.

tech is not really needed

Crafting is more limited and streamlined now. But you are going to find getting mats is much rougher in 2.0 so there is 1 perk in tech worth getting for crafting and all it does is give you 25% more crafting mat in loot.

you can stop at 15 if all you want is the cyberware unlocks.

if you dont care about an extra slot and some special options you dont even need tech at all. As you Cap goes up with level and Cyberware Cap Shards are a rare loot drop.
