Clothing in wardrobe but not in inventory

I have things that only show up in the wardrobe where I can add them to an outfit. But I can't equip them from the inventory screen because they don't show up

Nevermind I'm really dumb lol. I just realized the wardrobe is like a different stash

What does that mean "a different stash" ?? I am having the same problem.

Old tread but there is an infinite storage container or “stash” located on the vehicle or at the apartment. It is “different” location as it is not carried with you.

Wardrobe isn't the stash though. You can break all your clothes it will show up on the wardrobe if you have acquired it once, so you can create outfit profiles without the cloth item.

I just buy clothes from vendors and break it after acquiring.

Remember that the Wardrobe simply gives you the _appearance_ of the clothing you've picked up in the game, whether you keep it or not. The outfits you put together are simply for looks. The clothing in your Inventory are pieces you actually _own_.

This system made a lot more sense when every piece of clothing had armour value, or some other property...now such items are relatively rare....just helmets, ballistic vests and a few other things have such values. Personally, I find it all confusing and more trouble than I want to go to. My V will put on a vest or helmet before going into battle, and take them off afterwards.

Wardrobe is simply, and solely, a transmog system.
