awful input lag since 2.0

just tried out the new update and im getting awful input lag where my inputs (WASD, mouse) will just freeze for a second every couple seconds, like i wont be able to look around and my wasd and mouse buttons will be stuck to what i was perssing when the lag starts, performance the entire time will be fine but it's extremely annoying.

nope, hyperx, and it's not just the mouse that freezes, all keyboard inputs freeze too, but i haven't had it happen since i upgraded to 32gb ram and reinstalled windows

Same issue here. Have been using a wireless mouse and keyboard but wired/wireless gives me the same issue.

Similar to you it works fine sometimes and other times unplayable

I was having similar issues, with what appeared to be the game switching between keyboard and controller. I eventually discovered my controller's left trigger was continuously applying an input signal which was causing issues.

in the same boat tried a ton of tweaks and enabling/disabling this and that and still the controls lock up. hoping for someone to have a fix
