The whole Sniper Rifle thing was poorly handled from Twitch as the drop said to subscribe to a channel for the first time for the first 7 hours of the promotion and I am sure many got burned by that error and then a similar error that you had where only some of the streamers have the Sniper Rifle but all can have the drops, so it just becomes confusing. This image was the original text from the drop for those first 7 hours before they changed it.

Just a heads up but it was mentioned that gifted subs will be getting a 25% discount starting tomorrow so better to wait, just another way Twitch burned a lot of people as they could have started that sale today when the drops started but they knew there would be a lot of subs bought today so they wanted to milk it as much as they could.

it really is stupid. they made the list of available streamers for the sniper really hard to find on the cdpr website. and also i guess the smg isnt available on prime gaming in my country at the moment so that sucks too. i mean sasha grey at the time had drops going and was literally the highest viewed streamer at the time... and a ton of ppl were gifting 2 subs.

The Prime weapon is not up yet as I just checked as I have heard a few people mention it but have not seen anything official on it. I am sure they are saving it probably for another week or 2.

A lot of streamers are probably happy over the confusion on the Sniper Rifle because it means they get a lot more subs from mistakes then they normally would as I watched Cohh's stream this morning to get the exclusive Helmet drop and since the Drop wording on the Twitch page was that you had to sub to a channel for the first time, there were a ton of people that were not following him doing those new solo subs. I also got burned by that original wording as I thought I would give CD Projekt Red my sub but I did not get the Sniper and sent Twitch Support a ticket about it and they said it showed as claimed but that it might take 24 hours to show up on the redemption page but I have a feeling they were just looking at the other 2 drops that I had and not the images I had sent that showed I got those and not the Sniper.

I plan to send Twitch another ticket after 24 hours to see if they honor their mistake because it really was a bait and switch that as a viewer, we should not be forced to figure out that the requirements they list for the Drop is wrong as I actually thought it was an alternative way to get the drop and was thinking that Twitch was doing a good job having another option to get it.
