Ray Reconstruction is kinda bugged in this game atm (at least for me on 4070), without ray tracing it's turned on when using DLSS resulting in some frame loss (going from capped 165 to 140-150). I have to turn it off each time i launch the game.
What I really wants to now is about the performance improvement from DLSS 3+, if it is working for RTX 20 and 30, I'm not worried about Ray Reconstruction and FG . The only thing that is confusing me is that in the patch notes is mentioned something about DLSS 3.5 is being restrict for RR feature.....
To me subjectively speaking DLSS looks and performes better now.
Someone on here also said something about 3.5 also including improvements to the DLSS image. My best guess is that Ray-Reconstruction is the major 3.5 upgrade (that everybody talks about) but there are still minor upgrades that we all profit off.
What's the approximate performance boost? Is it noticeable? Like is it 1-3 FPS or 5-10 FPS etc. What % is it? Of course depending on your average FPS.
It seems weird that 3.5 can only work with the highest level of ray tracing so far lol. Very convenient.
This is the module responsible for dlss level presets and also dlaa.
There's simply too much misinfo around.
