DLSS 3.5
Something I dont undersand about DLSS 3.5... I read that now it is opened for RTX 20, 30.... But also saw that in Cyberpunk its restrict to Ray Reconstruction. So This is not the Same DLSS we use to get beter performance in the game ? If so, am I still using DLSS 2.0 with my RTX 3060 when I turn on DLSS Super Resolution (quality mode) ?

Non 4000 series get all the improvements from DLSS 3.0 except Frame generation. For sone reason Ctberpunk turns off Ray Reconstruction without Frame Generation.

Frame Generation its exclusive to RTX 40 series, DLSS 3.5+ and Ray Reconstruction its available for all RTX series and you can use the Ray Reconstruction with the Ray Tracing Overdrive (Path Tracing) turned on for now, it will be available later without overdrive.

despite the new features and they are working, the DLSS and FG still not updated to version 3.5.0 only RR is on that version 3.5.0

Ummmm. Maybe you need to go read up on it all. The only issue is locking RR behind Path tracing.

All RTX cards get 3.5 (ray reconstruction) wich is basicly AI denoiser for ray tracing, 4000 series has frame generation.
Ray Reconstruction is kinda bugged in this game atm (at least for me on 4070), without ray tracing it's turned on when using DLSS resulting in some frame loss (going from capped 165 to 140-150). I have to turn it off each time i launch the game.

Wrong. It turns off RR without Path tracing, it has nothing to do with frame generation

No, Ray Reconstruction is built into DLSS, it won't work without it, frame gen dosn't need DLSS.

What I really wants to now is about the performance improvement from DLSS 3+, if it is working for RTX 20 and 30, I'm not worried about Ray Reconstruction and FG . The only thing that is confusing me is that in the patch notes is mentioned something about DLSS 3.5 is being restrict for RR feature.....

All rtx cards can do frame generation, but nvidia locked it for selling the 40 Serie.

To me subjectively speaking DLSS looks and performes better now.

Someone on here also said something about 3.5 also including improvements to the DLSS image. My best guess is that Ray-Reconstruction is the major 3.5 upgrade (that everybody talks about) but there are still minor upgrades that we all profit off.

What's the approximate performance boost? Is it noticeable? Like is it 1-3 FPS or 5-10 FPS etc. What % is it? Of course depending on your average FPS.

It seems weird that 3.5 can only work with the highest level of ray tracing so far lol. Very convenient.

The dlss sr module is at 3.1, which is same as on cp ver 1.6. Of course you can replace the dll to 3.5 from techpowerup.

This is the module responsible for dlss level presets and also dlaa.

There's simply too much misinfo around.

Is it a glitch that I was able to switch on Ray Reconstruction on RTX3080, while Path Tracing is off? Am I missing something here? I thought its impossible to switch Ray reconstruction on if you don't have Path Tracing enabled.

Might be, I have the same thing, without Path Tracing all it does is eat some frames without any noticable improvements.
