How to do Non-Lethal in 2.0?
Maybe I'm just dumb and missing something, but I'm struggling to do non-lethal damage in CP2077 2.0. I mostly want it for the Cyberpsychos, but half the time when I'm using a stun baton they die anyway. Am I missing something? Is Bare Handed the only way to do reliable Non-lethal damage?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Check your 'additional effects' of your stun baton?
Or just use a baseball bat.

I dunno, I've just been shooting them with lethal rounds and the cyberpsychos fall to the ground without being treated as killed. I've also noticed the same for regular enemies if their heads don't explode.

Get them down to minimal HP then short circuit

With Blunt you need to be very careful, what I usually do is Wittle them down with Blunt Weapons and then when they have a sliver of health yet throw a non-lethal grenade.

EDIT: Above post also works

Aha! Thank you very much.

Really? Fascinating. I wonder what the mechanics behind it are.

Which ones are non-lethal? I've got Frag (obviously not), EMP and Blind but none of them say non-lethal.

One time i accidentally didnt short circuit a psycho, but shot 'em with a definitely lethal SMG and they survived, not sure if this is a bug or something.

I think EMP is non lethal.

Just punch them in the face when they are close to 1% HP.
I cannot believe the answers here.... Certain types of damage, including bleeds, WILL NOT kill enemies. As well, there are weapon mods that turn all damage to non lethal.

There are more non lethal ways than ever before, and well beyond "just punch them in the face" good lord.

I slow down time and unload several clips from a pistol into the head of a cyberpsycho and when they fall over, they're writhing on the ground and get a message that makes it clear that I didn't kill them. It is most definitely lethal damage.

I don't think this is an issue where players are simply confused. It looks like either a bug or the devs decided that enemies would default to not dying unless you keep shooting them after they're down.

Unless, of course, their head explodes.

Have we even confirmed lethal/non-lethal is still even a thing after 2.0 other than stealth takedowns?

I've been playing it safe by using a bat on the psychos, but based on the comments so far, some people see. To be indicating that a lethal will be treated as a nonlethal in this context.

Gunshots aren’t necessarily fatal in this game. Dunno if there are specifically non lethal firearms though, I’m too busy turning people into chunks of gonk

I've been using the suggestion above to get them low and then finish them with Short-Circuit and that seems to be working for non-lethal
