Melee builds viable and powerful in 2.0?
Subject. Just curious, I am about to start a new character/playthrough in prep for the expansion and am wondering how viable Melee builds can be. I know they used to be REALLY powerful if you did it right.... but I am hearing not so much now.

Blunt melee with the Quake perks from Body and the Dash perks from reflexes is a ton of fun and feels very strong.

Blades was nerfed but you're still a walking god with this build.
Blunt weapons were buffed and are now nearly as good.

It's netrunning that got nerfed to the ground.

Netrunning is fine.

Just requires a minute amount of thought put into it instead of just pressing a button an watching everything die. It's an intelligence build IRL as well it seems.

Pre 2.0 that playstyle was even dumber than full body unga bunga build is.

Act 2 melee with gorilla arms and im ripping trough content on very hard with so much ease that it stopped being any challenge. With new shockwave its just stupid. I see marker on the map run jump from the roof and everything is dead. Ehrn you hit the ground you send everything flying including cars.

Im playing blades and nades. Using the electrical projectile arm launcher. The new perks are amazing for this build. Lots of cool stuff to do.

Anyone have any good links to a blade based melee build that will wreck as I get going on a new play through?

Your are right. Ppl crying about netrunner being useless should check for the cyberwares that buff it. Same with every other build.
tech+reflex blade is just... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ridiculious. Given you use the right cyberwares

A lot of build are op. I cant wait to try out malorian arms 3516 because of it being power and tech weapon in one. It will profit from cool and tech tree and can be broken with proper build and mods.

I ran a katana build up until level 30 so far and it's great fun. People say it's nerfed from 1.6 and maybe it is (didn't play one back then) but it is still amazing fun.
