friendly mode hack on cameras not working 2.0

i have a tier 5+ deck and i can select friendly mode for cameras (saays it unlocks at t2), but it literally does nothing at all. there is not even a moment where it is friendly, it will immediately try to bust me, even right after uploading the hack. the only way to deal with cameras is to ignore the alarms, or turn them off.

update: this issue seems to have mostly been resolved, in that most of the time it DOES now work to make a camera friendly, but one other related thing is that both cameras and turrets that have been hacked and made friendly now seem to sometimes revert back to being hostile again, despite the description of the ability saying the duration is "infinite." it seems like perhaps distance and time seem to be a factor in this, but i cant be 100% sure of this, and regardless this has happened multiple times within a single poi. most recently i noticed it happen a bunch of times at the automated factory/warehouse area up in the corporate hills that you go to for an NCPD organized crime mission (there are a bunch of robots, drones and turrets throughout the poi, and a mech in the big building in the back). its a large poi, but you can chain through cameras to get to the back of the facility and hack the turrets and cameras back there, to prepare your way back... only when i then actually went back there physically they were all hostile again (and then when i went back to the front the cameras i had hacked there had become hostile again as well). to be clear, i remember doing this mission in a previous playthrough before 2.0, and this was NOT an issue then, hacking a camera or turret was always permanent unless i left the poi entirely and went somewhere else. meaning whatever is going on here is NEW to the 2.0 update.
