Any way to remove level scaling and go back to previous progression?
Any mod or something?

Downgrade your version, wait for a mod or learn how to code and make the mod yourself instead of complaining about it like the other 30 posts.

i think a lot of people will be heading back to 1.63 after the DLC story is done. this 2.0 is a shell of the original. it is totally deflated.

2.0 is same story, but the gear, crafting, skill trees are all completely gutted and downgraded or made pointless. in this area it is a completely unacceptable situation. i could not be more disappointed with these changes.

and idk about everyone else but who asked for vehicle weapons? like there's really no content to support this feature. just a waste.

i hope CDPR continues to offer 1.63 in the steam beta section forever, so we do not have to raise the sails.

Uh did you even play the expansion?

It requires changes to talents, but with the 2.0 gear and Cyberware our characters are becoming even more powerful than they were before.

People like you are the exact reason most companies don't even bother trying anymore because no matter what they do, people like YOU will continue to complain and exist. 2.0 actually makes the game FUN, and yet people are worried about something as stupid as level scaling? Have you looked at the talent trees?

Level scaling will mean absolutely nothing once you start acquiring all the good perks and such, which takes a little game-play effort but you're more concerned with enemies scaling to your level than actually enjoying the game. I am level 31 already on a fresh play-through going into areas with skull enemies and doing fine.

What is your obsession with going back into low level areas as a high level and one shotting all the enemies? We all know that's all you want to do - "I want a sense of progression not enemies scaling with me" Cry me a river. You get new guns as you level, you get new Cyberware as you level, you get new perks as you level, you get new skills as you level. ALL OF THOSE influence your PROGRESSION, read that again with me - NEW GUNS, NEW CYBERWARE, NEW PERKS, NEW SKILLS, AS YOU PROGRESS, which means.. MEANINGFUL PROGRESSION :O!!!

I am sure someone with come out with a mod for all you crybabies soon anyways, so just go and get a life until then.

Man, did someone hurt you? Sure taking a huge offense to someone disliking a particularly specific thing.

People like different things. And plenty of people are sick of level scaling in games. It's especially bad when a game didn't have it, and makes it a mandatory change in a patch.

Probably just as annoyed as I am with these non sensical whines. Our characters become stronger than ever before and at max level with the equipment you can shred them just fine, possibly faster than before.

Btw. previously the game scaled too but it wasn't well done as NPC above the player level dealed more damage and less below the player level. Btw. I have been using a mod that added level scaling before 2.0 and it made the combat more enjoyable.

Providing you with a meaningful explanation and an idea behind my thoughts - I understand that's a new concept for you and you probably don't see it a lot, but that doesn't mean you go to personal insults as a result of your own misunderstanding lol. I told you exactly why level scaling DOESN'T matter in the newest patch, yet instead of acknowledging that or even responding to it - you respond with "who hurt you"? Nice.

well, if you like being able to unlock doors or security panels with your current attributes (body, int, etc).. when low level... you're ish out of luck. the attribute req goes up as your player level goes up. its something like starting at 4 and going up to about 12.

Enemy level scaling is fine. Skill check level scaling is not. Spotting that Jackie's bike needs a tuneup shouldn't get harder just because I ran around doing other stuff for a few hours. And ESPECIALLY skill checks shouldn't scale after you find them. If I need 6 body to move a dumpster, leave and level up a bit, then come back with 6 body and now it needs 10 that's just bad.

On the plus. It now makes ironman less of a hassle.

Honestly man, I've played a fresh start and am lvl 46 now and I haven't noticed level scaling one bit. It's not as bad as it sounds.
