Controller or mouse and keyboard?
What would you recommend?

I recently started playing with a controller, because it feels super comfortable physically speaking. But it's very difficult to be accurate with shooting, and looking at/picking up objects can be cumbersome.

The aim assist settings are nice, but good luck trying to get headshots consistently. I switched back to M+KB for now, because I want to have precise control over where I look, but I still appreciate the comfort of controller. I'll switch back at some point.

Just try it out!
with all the driving in this, a mouse and keyboard would get very annoying. Game feels great with a controller.

my original play through i started with a gun build and did mouse/keyboard when not in a vehicle. when the dlc hits in the next day or so im thinking of doing a melee build. if i go melee then ill definitely be fine with a controller.

with cars it was definitely annoying but on bikes i developed a 'feel' for steering the bike on my keyboard. worked suprisingly good. cars in the oem release definitely were a pain with a keyboard

In recent updates they addzd more vehicle control options with keyboard, if you tweak it right it'll work fine.
Bikes are also way better to drive compared to cars on keyboard.
Other than that, it works like an FPS, so mouse will always be better than a controller for aiming.
