The aim assist settings are nice, but good luck trying to get headshots consistently. I switched back to M+KB for now, because I want to have precise control over where I look, but I still appreciate the comfort of controller. I'll switch back at some point.
Just try it out!
with cars it was definitely annoying but on bikes i developed a 'feel' for steering the bike on my keyboard. worked suprisingly good. cars in the oem release definitely were a pain with a keyboard
Bikes are also way better to drive compared to cars on keyboard.
Other than that, it works like an FPS, so mouse will always be better than a controller for aiming.
