Mantis vs Gorilla with 2.0
I can't decide between doing a full blunt build with hammer and Gorilla or going more katana + mantis blades.

I am doing a overall shotung + LMG build so the gorilla would be the more natural setup, but with 2.0 katanas and slicing up people just feels so much better than just hitting in the face, atleast for me.

So what would you say is more fun to use in 2.0 ? and whats maybe better for using it with shotgun

If you are going Shotgun anyway, I would suggest sticking with Gorilla.

Although as you can tell from my PFP I am a bit biased.

From my experience, blades do more damage (especially Byakko and Scalpel). And you can pair them with Projectile Launcher System (except if you go with Mantis Blades).

I'm not sure if it's true, but Mantis Blades seem to have a worse hitbox than katanas (and thus less AoE damage).

For melee builds, int and cool are now useless, so all you need is 20 body / 20 ref / 20 technical. There's no issue using shotguns with blades.

Blades are much more fun early game because they don't take a ton of perks to be fun and dynamic.

Once you're heavily specced into the Blunt tree, however, the Gorilla Arms are... ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing. Once you get Quake and Savage Sling you feel like a superhero.
