Crafting / Upgrading quickhack components?
Do schematics exist for these? So many lower tier quickhack components but nothing to really do with them.

You can´t upgrade quickhacks anymore, but you can craft higher tier ones. You get the blueprints, crafting mats and sometimes quickhacks from hacking terminals.

Upgrade your deck and you will be able to buy the crafting specs at the Netrunner shop.

I haven`t found any place other than the netrunner shop to get the crafting specs to upgrade/craft quickhack components, and god knows I search for every cranny chest and access points... They are pricey though just like all in that shop xD but I guess there`s more than enough money.

Still, I haven`t bought it, I`m getting all the quickhacks I want from the access points. I don`t know what I`m going to do with all those quickhack components also from access points and from disassembling so many duplicates.

That's a shame. Since you can upgrade weapon crafting materials from one tier to the next, I thought you could somehow do the same with the quickhack components. I guess I can just make tier 2 quickhacks and sell them, or something.

You can buy the spec for crafting/upgrading quickhack components from a netrunner shop. They look like icon that used to be the one before 2.0 for buying the component individually.

Buy the component crafting patterns at Yoko's netrunner shop in Kabuki, or the guy in Japantown. They are expensive, so bring your Eddies. However if you have a good supply of components you can craft and sell quickhacks to earn the money back pretty easily.

Last night, I got my first iconic quickhack from hacking a terminal (for a quickhack I don't really use). I didn't know they existed.

Sad news. Most, or maybe like half (the half that actually matter for most part) are bugged and do not work correctly and they're typically severe bugs. Tier 5 are almost always superior to iconic quickhacks. If you see what of interest Google more info about it before you consider using it...

Example: Contagion has multiple bugs like 3-4 critical ones iirc... like the explosion/spreading or crit issues, or the lack of being better compared to the T5 in general, etc.

RAM cost reductions in the iconic versions of Cyberpsychosis, System Collapse, and most others with "RAM cost reduction" effects do not work...

Weapon Glitch doesn't work at all.

Ping has reduced duration (lol)

Etc.

There is at least one or two that have a T4 version that is arguably superior to their T5 version due to noticeably lower RAM cost, too, but I can't remember which hacks off the top of my head.
