quickhacks
how do i stop enemies from tracing me from quickhacks before i would just need to kill the guy i quickhacked but now it seems like every enemy in a group tries to track you and the only way i can see to stop them from tracing you is to kill all of them and i'm not very fond of that

Check out the perk tree. There are perks now that reset the trace, e.g. when you kill an enemy.

of course it will track you, this is year 2077 and they got cyber implant as well, they all connected into a single network and they got daemon called ICE basically a firewall and protection tech that detect hackers, you have it as well...

read the perks it has 1 skill that give you 100% untraceable if you takedown someone

i tried that and even after killing someone with quickhacks it doesn't reset the detection

Unfortunately there is no way to stop it once it's triggered.

As others have mentioned there are perks which you can take to reduce the trace progress by doing various things and there's one which reduces it by a 100% if you perform a takedown on an enemy from behind, but stopping it completely is not possible. Once it starts your entire stealth segment at that point is on a timer until all the bad guys are dead.

You can avoid it however through the use of Sonic Shock and then queuing any other quickhack after it. Sonic Shock is a stealth Netrunner's new best friend in 2.0.

Personally speaking I do not like that it's just a global gimmicky timer, taking out a dedicated group's Netrunner should stop the trace.

I just took Shadowrunner (-100% trace after a takedown), and it doesn't seem to work? I dropped a couple of quickhacks on an enemy and he went down after the second one fired, but the trace just continued without skipping a beat. My Shadowrunner perk didn't stop the trace, or even reset the progress bar. Is it just bugged or something?

As far as I know, a takedown is when you sneak up on somebody and use a takedown. So you just might be doing it wrong.

A takedown is grabbing someone and breaking their neck/knocking them out i believe, kinda stupid when you think about it seeing as most hacking is done from far away.

Sonic Shock before you use another hack to cut off thier communications to the network will keep them from tracing you.

i've made great progress, sonic shock to start everything off or higher tier memory wipe then damn near any quickhack that does damage my favorite lethal combo is contagion into overheat which makes their limbs shoot off and no one knows what happened or suicide or cyberpsychosis i've unlocked teir 5 quickhacks last night but i havent used them yet im on the hardest difficulty and stealth quickhacking is so incredibly easy i've been able to instantly take out cyberpsychos with my quickhacks mainly by doing sonic shock contagion overheat suicide and their health bar always drops to 0 when i do that in one queue, lucky me suicide on them isnt lethal so i can keep my bonus reward its crazy

Memory wipe first, and anything that follows in the queue will be untraceable.

It would make sense if you could find and kill whoever was trying to trace you.

But I don't really mind it I don't think because just uploading quickhacks and watching everyone die with no danger to yourself whatsoever was not exciting. I don't mind being forced out of stealth and doing more gunplay along with quickhacks.

You can find and kill whoever is trying to trace you.

the issue is that i think everyone connected to the guy im killing is able to trace me so unless i cut off their comms with sonic shock or start with tier 4 memory wipe i'd have to kill all of them before they can trace me
