How do I disable photo mode?

So, I'm using a controller to play the game. Just started a new game, and saw a pop up saying I can disable photo mode in the settings menu. I've searched high and low there, and can't find this setting. So I goggled it, and found a guide from launch that it under miscellaneous in the gameplay section. I go there and find nothing. I figure the guide is outdated since it's from launch.

With that in mind, where do I find the option to turn off photo mode?

How to disable photo mode completely?

Where is the option in the menu to either rebind crouch while on a gamepad or turn off photo mode completely?

Photo mode is not a necessary part of combat, and it would be super awesome if someone didn't think they were funny by making it stupidly easy to accidentally hit the photo mode button.

Why can't I just shut this very stupid, very worthless thing off?

I play using a controller and just completed a stealth netrunner game, 70 hours or so and never once activated photo mode.

I do not think you can turn it off.

that's awesome, so sprinting is the right stick and it's easy to accidentally also hit the left stick. I understand that you're the best video game player in all of history so thank you for wasting my time.

I don't stream. I haven't used social media since 2016. I have literally no use for photo modes. All this does is interfere with my game-play if things start to get nuts and my arthritic hands happen to lean a little too hard on the thumb-sticks or hit the N key by accident.

how does photo mode get in the way of your gameplay? it’s hidden throughout your time playing, and only appears when you double press the sticks on a controller. this is a confusing post. if you don’t want to use photo mode, don’t use it. it’s out of the way to maximize gameplay.

Remap the key to something you would never accidentally touch.

I play with a controller and have activated photo mode accidentally in combat many times. I'd also love an option to disable it somehow.

For the keyboard: Just rebind the key to something you won't accidentally press?

I re-bound photo mode to minus on the numpad, way off in a corner so I will never accidentally hit it.

Accidentally pressing the thumb sticks I understand but how does one “accidentally” press the N key on accident? That would be like me “accidentally” building an entire LEGO set perfectly; “Oh, you know, my hand just kinda slipped and before I knew it, the set just fell into place.”

QWERTY or AZERTY keyboard layout, the N key is pretty isolated as keys go.

Map is not something you want to open when in panic mode though.

Its crazy i play with gamepad all the time and have literally never had this problem lol but its not a bad idea tho.
