I fired 3 shots in a row directly at a stationary target with the smart sniper rifle and watched the bullets swerve away from the target, finally I took out my pistol and arced a long shot and popped him in the head.
At close range the smart pistol isn't that bad but even "locked" onto the head they don't all hit the head and will also hit the cover he is behind, which kind of defeats the purpose of a smart gun
I feel like you might not be allowing for the lock on. The little square needs to turn into a diamond before your are locked on once your locked on it is really hard to miss.
There does appear to be min/max ranges. The sniper has issue in close range
Its not my first time at the the smart gun rodeo, I know how the smart gun works and when it locks, and I only use the smart gun sniper at longer ranges as I prefer using the smart gun pistol at closer, the whole point was to play a smart gun build.
Maybe I'll just save that play to revisit at a later date, once the kinks are worked out
I honestly don't remember his affiliation
Now you know.
That's because some enemies counter smart guns.
Not true. Perks unlock more targets.
