Crashing in menus as of 2.0
This is getting just ****** absurd. I am able to run the game with ray-tracing on, ultra settings in the open world. I get 60 fps consistently with little to no drops. But now for the third day straight I am still unable to use a menu.

Settings menu longer than 7 seconds? crash. "Cyberpunk 2077 has flatlined" Cyberware menu to update my cyberware for more armor or literally anything else? Flatline. It took me over 15 crashes to get through the mandatory cyberware menu where Vik gives me the eyes and grip. Trying to sell items for more than a few seconds at a time and the game crashes. How the actual hell can they mess up this badly? I have to look at the leveling screen on a google tab to decide how to level and then rapidly click through in game in hopes I can level up before the game crashes.

No mods, several reinstalls, updated drivers, all of it. Nothing so far has worked.

Check the version of Windows again. If the version of Windows is not the latest version and the update attempt fails, update Windows manually.

Did this and it is still occurring. Did another fresh install, and it still is not fixed.

I have the same problem where it will crash when I'm in settings menus. It even crashes when I die too. I emailed support and got this back. It might help someone. It didn't for me, unfortunately. It's frustrating because it worked when I played it a year back (on version 1.52). Same hardware and OS too. Plus, I bought the expansion before realizing my game is forked.

Anyway, the support reply:
"Please try to reinstall your GPU drivers. To do so completely follow these steps:

Download the newest drivers for your GPU, but don't install them yet.
Download Display Driver Uninstaller and run it to remove previous versions of drivers.
Clean install drivers that you've downloaded in step 1.

Next, please follow the instruction below.

1. Delete REDEngine and CD Projekt Red folders from the following location: %userprofile%\AppData\Local\
2. Make sure that DirectX12 shader cache is not corrupted.
Search for disk cleanup in the Taskbar search box.
Click on the search result.
Select the C drive and click the OK button.
Select the DirectX Shader Cache checkbox.
Click the OK button.
3. Restart your PC and launch the game. See if it helped."

If you are still having this problem go into Cyberpunk 2077\r6\cache\modded folder and delete a fill called Tweakdb.bin
Fixed this exact issue for me.
