Has anyone managed to kill an entire 2.0 maxtac squad?

This game is more like GTA than a straight up RPG, time people realize that fact after several years of this being out by now

I found MaxTac Mantis Blades after I killed several waves of MaxTac operatives. Crate spawned at V's main apartment.

You get the MaxTac Mantis Blades for choosing a certain path in Somewhat Damaged, or fighting a named boss in the Bullets side job. It has nothing to do with killing waves of MaxTac.

well, you can grind exp and loot way easier than killing maxtac, so they could at least give some good exp/skill exp. But rn they just there for immersion, nothing more, which is a bit sad

Yes on Hard but not Very Hard. Mantis can 3 shot you but like in a single combo on waves higher than 2

It's a necro, but ehh..

Yeah, done it. Use Breakthrough or another sniper/weapon that can shoot through walls.

There's a shop stall in Westbrook, Japantown, that you can climb through the window of. In the corner, there's a door you can open, and that leads into a big blue tower.
You can shoot through the walls and no one can get you. They can't access the shop, so stand like lemons outside.

Of course it's an exploit, but people mod, glitch their way into Konpeki again etc.. so this is nothing new.

You cant exactly "beat" them, they are never ending. Can you kill the entire squad? Sure, I want to say "easily" but it is usually a bit build dependent on that.

aye. Shows how "good" your build is at combat if you can defeat squad after squad in open combat. End game, i can just about do it...

I do find it funny that you can one shot the Maxtac agent, by using a sneak takedown on her for the mantis blades, but if you try that on one of these bosses, they can fight you off.

You can sneak takedown bosses like Smasher, it just uses the same mechanic as the powerloader bosses where you have to do it twice.

I know this is 2023 threat. But really ?? You can take whole squad in first tuturial mission where the guy drops HMG just save when you got normal thugs cleared & shoot fev civis from the balcony & Mactac will spawn & with HMG they will drop easy just dont get hit & let them come to you. later with laser wire things its even easier :P they drop decent loot sometimes for crafting[edit: the robots that acompany them drop some loot: crafting things] but really why bother with maxtac ?? :P
