Cyberpunk 2077
Am I crazy to think the game looks better without ray tracing?
Considering Frame Gen still causes issues with menus for some people and how bad the texture resolution gets on anything but Quality on DLSS hardly seems worth even using the ray tracing. Some areas will looks a little better but for the most part I see little difference and in some cases Ray tracing looks worse because itll make a scene way too dark or blurry.

I can play with RT for the first time and it's amazing. Going back to normal rasterisation and the lighting doesn't look right, I can't go back anymore. Yes I am willing to sacrifice 60 fps for RT, at least in Cyberpunk 2077 where it's so gorgeous.
you're mentally insane yes
Ray tracing looks insane, and with path tracing on I am pretty sure this is the most beautiful PC game I have ever seen..
RTX shadows don't look very different compared to max shadows to me. But holy hell RTX reflections are incredible. I need to play around with lighting more but my 3060 can only realistically run Shadows or Reflections and maintain ~60 FPS. So I only get one RTX setting if I'm feeling froggy.

Yea, for more fps RT shadows can be turned off. They don't make a massive difference compared to RT lighting and reflections.
Everyone has their own preferences but personally I would love to go full ray tracing. My 3060 Ti will sadly turn it into a slide show (and no, dlss does not cut it for me).

Most games with ray tracing has it just make everything shiny, but cyberpunk is one of the few instances where it looks nice. Not nice enough to be worth the hit to performance though.
Path tracing looks so good with all the latest bells and whistles enabled. Even on DLSS performance setting on a 4K monitor (1080p internal render) it looks sharp and clean and comes close to fooling you it's really 4K. if you're going to use DLSS make sure all the post process screen effects are off; chromatic, motion blur, film grain, etc. it get's rid of unnecessary blur. 75% sharpening looks good.

Check out these "4K" screenshots.
Try to guess the DLSS setting being used for each shot, or is it native?
This scene nicely shows the difference between the different modes. raster, raster RT hybrid, path trace + RR & All 3 on 1.

1st and 3rd screenshot really shows the difference RT makes. It's night and day.
I'm playing with Path Tracing on with Ray Reconstructing, the enviroment looks absouletly fabolous. Yet characters looks like ♥♥♥♥.
I must agree. RT off looks way better. I spent almost 10 hours, testing some settings, etc... RT with DLSS looks very blury, there's a lot of noise in picture. No difference between RT low or RT Ultra. Looks same. It looks like everything is covered in gasoline stains. In my opp best settings - game look great and ultra sharp - all settings on ultra, RT off and instead of DLSS i'm using DLAA with 100% shepness. In this scenario i have average 100 fps.
