2.0 difficulty
So i loaded up an old save to update it to 2.0 and try out the new perks and such. I tried a few things but even at like 500 armor a bunch of cyberware the damage seems really high incoming compared to before. Like if i dont run to cover immediately after starting a fight i get chunked down.

Is this just some weird interaction with loading up old saves? Are new playthroughs feeling better or is this the same across the board and we just gotta play differently than before?

Before the patch the game was way too easy.

The game was way too easy intentionally; we had perks that were actually cool and levels meant something. Now I can spawn in Adam Smasher at level 1 and beat him because he scales down to me.. really awesome, huh? I also can't go to the higher level zones and challenge myself since they'll now be the same level as me.. super boring.

I've also got the same issue. Bullet sponges EVERYWHERE. kinda getting boring. Ill have to just wait for mods to fix this game yet again

How do you get to any boss and stay lvl 1? And just normal gang fights can kill me, what game are you playing?

A easy difficulty player says too easy lol.Go play very hard with netrunner or any build without melee and see if you can take out max tak or do fear the reaper end mission :cozycastondeath:
this.

It says in the patch notes you'll likely have a bad time if you use an old save on the new patch. Entirely possible your items are borked.

I started a new Nomad run on Very Hard and can't get past the car chase sequence XD

I am hearing totally conflicting complaints here. Some people are saying that enemies are bullet sponges and the scaling is more challenge than what they were used to before, which was essentially outleveling the content. And on the other side there are people arguing that the content is too easy and that they can't go challenge themselves with above-their-level content. The spectrum is laughable and shows how it can't be all that bad,

I started a new game on Very Hard and yes, like Giganova just said, I literally needed to turn the into Nomad car chase sequence down to normal mode to get past it. And once getting intro the game I have been working on an agile netrunner who will be using tech/smart weapons and monowire. The enemies on very hard are challenging sometimes, but not terrible. Some of the mobs have higher levels than their buddies and a few are even too high to even be able to quickhack, but we have lots of options. We have replenishing heals and grenades, cover, tech weapon piercing, tagging enemies for vision.

Very simply, people who find the game too challenging at any point can easily turn down the game difficulty setting and those who find it too easy have a million ways to increase their challenge by allowing certain gear or perk restrictions (self-imposed). I am liking the difficulty in Very Hard in general, but I don't know what in the hell they were thinking with that car chase scene.

This is literally my build but ok.
There's no ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ difficulty in hiding and spamming your health kits when enemies are too retarded to flank you.

I have 927 armor with 237 Cyberware and I plan on getting to the max of 256 or slightly lower when I get more credits. The game got even easier and I am still a god on the highest difficulty.

I'm at level 13 I think maybe 12. Still didn't talk to dex lmao. Leveling up the solo skill with a tier 1 pipe. Pretty much everyone goes down in 3 hits. Sometimes a stealth power hit will take someone down. The ones with a skull a bit longer due to them having 2 or 3 health bars. Playing on normal. Seems fine to me.
