So much LOD issues
I see out of world on a lot of the sidewalks and then I get closer they load in. I move back a few feet and the graphic disappears...

I'm seeing the ground, then is disappears as I get closer to it, then spawn back in.

Lots of buildings missing a section of the wall allowing me to see through them.

Are you running it on a HDD .Sounds like a loading issue.

I'm on a $600 SSD NvmE 5th gen. So no, not a HDD. And it's a game issue, not a computer issue.

Never happens to me...

All my drives are SSD. rtx 2070 super (rtx is off in game) 32 gb ram, I7 9700

This lod issues are new to this 2.0 patch.

just so you know getting ultrafast expensive AF m.2s does almost nothing for 99% of games that a cheap SSD doesnt already do.
a standard ssd is generally already faster than the cpu compiling and finding stuff to send to the gpu that happens in load screens.
m.2 kind of wasted as a gaming drive imo you're only making use of maybe 15% of its 7000/mbs potential in games.

Let me guess. Intel CPU with 20 PCI-e lanes and too many devices connected.

Sounds like a bottleneck.

Never happens to me, could be a system issue not a game issue.

LoD has definitely got worse, not seeing the extreme examples being described though. Do think it's worth questioning with support but would suggest ruling out settings as a factor first - actual major bits of scenery entirely being absent is wild!

Thing is, the only real feedback most forum posters can give is whether they experience this issue, too. (which is useful to see if it's widespread or a niche issue of a few people).

Same here

For me personally LOD seems to be a lot more consistent than pre-2.0, but naturally there are some weird situations such as this one where an entire side of the street vanishes right in front of my nose which wasn't happening before;

I also on vnme and HDD in game have to OFF

No LOD issue or poping. Works great.

The issue arose after patch 1.5, but now it has gotten MUCH worse. The game is installed on an M.2 drive and has exactly the same issue as described by the post's author. Previously, this problem could be resolved with mods, but they haven't been updated since 2022 and now just break the game.
