They simply reduced the efford to sort through the loot and scrap.
Doing this breaks the entire economy of the game.
I actually took the efford to take screenshot of any weapon I looted for half an hour.
No weapon just disappers.
From the weapon I collected 51% were flagged as broken and scrapped. As I said, about half.
And I carried home 255 pounds of loot.
(if an opponent has no weapon to loot, just look around on the ground. When they had it in hand when they died, they porobably dropped it).
I'm replaying the game and in Konpeki Plaza, the only weapon I can equip now is Kongou because it's iconic rarity.
I've picked up every weapon that enemies drop and they all disappear unless I press R to equip and pickup.
Just picking up causes the loot to vanish.
It doesnt disappear as much as its broken down to crafting materials.
Sounds like you're buying crafting specs.
If you pick something up expecting to be in your inventory, but it magically "turns into crafting materials" without telling you.
(And I can't find anywhere where it says this happens, or gives me an option to turn it off)
In the same way a magician disappears a rabbit into a hat.
What's the point of dropping weapons then? They show stats and everything on the ground.
Why not just drop crafting materials instead.
It's just confusion for confusions sake.
The funniest is when you sneak quickhack a load of enemies they dont fire or spot you, and you go to loot them and all their guns are broken, its as if they are all running around with broken weapons.
they're connected to the enemie's biochips, so technically you can't use em, kinda like finger print access on phones. (Lore until they fix it ) xd
