Did you back to 1.63 ?

After 15 min in the 2.0 i get back to the 1.63 - I'd love the game how it was and it and loved how my fully netrunner character was wipping the ennemy. The 2.0 sounds too much a different game to me + my old computer hates this new version.

I'm sad, I stopped to play to not finish the game before the DLC because I didn't wanted to restart all... Did some of you get back to 1.63 as soon as me ?

Nope. Liking 2.0 far. New skill tree is cool, getting 10-15 more fps than I was on 1.63.

There will likely be mods to fix the design choices we dislike. Probably won’t help performance though.

You can't play the expansion on 1.6.3. Also, all mods are going to be developed for 2.0 from this point forward. Anyone who does this is missing out

Doubtful there will be such overhaul mods. This not a Bethesda game. They don't exist now why would that change.

iam not a fan of the new cyberware overhaul however the expansion is supposed to bring more cyberware so i will continue to play 2.0 since i want to play the expansion i paid for

Netrunners are balanced for the DLC content, when both new items that give you more ram and relic tree that boost your damage are live.
I do agree right now, it is underwhelming. Hopefully it get better next week when the DLC is released

I've got a 10 yo computer, I already updated it to play to Cyberpunk, but I don't have enough space on my SSD for that new 2.0. I had no problems with not playing with the higher image quality, I'm playing this game for the story, the atmosphere. I hate combats, so I choosed to play a full netrunner, a kind of Motoko Kusanagi, being able to kills all the ennemy from hacking their brain without being seen. Yes it took more time to finish missions, it was harder than playing a killing beast machine but I could do it, trying even to keep the opposant alived. I'd love to feel becoming more and more close to a true Motoko Kusanagi, a goddess of hacking, wipping out group of ennemies, but being extremmely vulnarable each time an ennemy come to close combat. Nosw the ennemies seems to stay at the same level as you... I don't see the point. So I will probably ask for a refund to the DLC and it makes me extremmely sad...

Cloned my 1.63 install on Wednesday night so I could swap back & forth. Seems to be working well so far, although I did wind up spending all my gaming hours last night w/ the new 2.0 playthrough.

I think I like the systems of 1.63 significantly better based on what I've seen so far, but also not seen/played 2.0 enough to have formed a solid conclusion (only got to level 7 in the 5.5-6 hours I've played it).

I made a copy before the game updated, and yes I use it and play version 1.63.
Biggest reason is Level Scaling.

That might not be true.

Stellaris also allows people to use different version, and some mods only works on the legecy version.
