Unlocking Higher Tier Operating System?

so im at level 16 and still in tier 2 OS... how do you unlock them?

I think you just need to level up to unlock some higher tier from the ripperdoc? From what angel have said it make sense to get a tier 5 in level 50 because it's supposed to be a late game upgrade instead of buying it early just like the older version.. Imma try to play it tommorow and see if that's the case.

I'm not sure how you get higher tier cyberware organically (i'm only level 16 rn) but I've been grinding crafting mats and the game has let me upgrade all my cyberware to tier 3+ without putting up a level wall, as long as I have the mats

Tier 2 is level 10, 3 is 20, 4 is 30, and 5 is 40.

Note that the various rarities start to drop earlier than you can buy them, roughly around halfway- 3 at 15, 4 at 25, 5 at 35.

at ~40 level. Autoleveling, baby. Yeah it is great mechanic (♥♥♥♥, no!)

You don't need to "craft" but you do need crafting mats to upgrade it at the ripperdoc. So you still need to disassemble stuff.

Also upgrading your current once as the highest ive seen in the shop is T3 around level 30

Street Cred has nothing to do with ripperdoc inventory anymore. It's strictly tied to player level.

Every 10 levels the next tier of cyberware unlocks at the ripperdocs.
