That's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Tho you might want to check things like tactical vests and some military type gear, I think a handfull of gear is still low armour now (stuff like kevlar and armour-Tee's)
What I want to know is.... Is there still a wardrobe function?
Haven't seen anyone mention it yet.
Clothing never really had much of an armour class in the tabletop, outside of said actual armour gear. So its a bit more tabletop like.
Even doing so, the armor stat will be pretty useless against attacks.
Wardrobe is still there in V's apartment.
edit:
As said above, the wardrobe is still there though.
thats actually not true. If you pick right perks and high end cyberware, armor is very much OP now even on very high
It's all a bit fresh and I don't have an overview YET, but I think going for high tech/cool/body will be the new tank/speed/stealth build. It's a bit odd, but stealth and tanking seems to coincide now.
Was worried with most clothing going cosmetic that they would take it away.
Healing items and grenades are infinite with recharging... charges. You can't just spam them anymore.
Clothing doesn't have much armour (SP) in the tabletop game.
Certain types of gear did. Kevlar shirts, Armour Jackets and Armour Tee items. Proper gear like anti flak jackets and true armour did.
Leather biker jackets had low stopping power, were better for stopping cutting damage than bullets
Armour was for the Friday night firefight, leather for the Saturday night scuffle.
Sunday, you picked the broken glass shards out of your fave jeans and nursed a hangover(lol)
I'm sure modders will make something work to give players options.
(Hoping for a 'Streetstyle' update, but not gona old my breath lol)
