What do you guys think about Update 2.0 [Gameplay-Wise] ?
I read and tested out the new Update. I was really shocked, what happend and how much does it change to the game. Actually new talent tree, new weapon system, new cyberware system etc.. In short everything changed in this game.

In my opinion, that someone, who didnt played or finish this game before, is a actually good Change and start to play Cyberpunk2077. I understand also the complaints about not being overpowered anymore. Quickhacks as example aren't doing oneshotting anymore and level-scaling make it tankier overall.

I am loving it so far. The level scaling is fair, not one shotting everything but killing just fine. No more having to do jobs in a certain order now. Love the clothing change, can wear what I want to look how I want and not worry about armour rating.

The new cyberware system is great, lot more added and you can build your body for your type of play style.

No crafting tree is nice too, everyone can craft if you have the blueprint and supplies. No need to spec into it.

The best thing is to jump out of the car while it's moving lol

Regarding the rest, yesterday I played a little, today I'm trying to see if I can see everything calmly. I've been here since day one and it's a really new game.

I'm enjoying it. Took me a few to readjust, especially with stamina in combat and melee. Quickly get to grips with the message that I have to invest with a bit more care because there's consequences for spreading too thinly. Saw this with hacking too - gone the days of just quietly shutting down every camera without worrying about RAM.

Really, it's just making me look forward to seeing what they've done for the expansion. There's limits to what can be changed in the base game, but some of the ideas could be really excellent when picked up by NPCs and areas designed around them. I think the 'boss' fight contrast is going to be greater than it was between TW3 and B&W. Take the Allfoods boss fight as the baseline comparison.

Yup, i agree it as well. The Funny part is about clothes is, they remove armor and affix (stats). So Clothes are only for the appearence now, which make it the feature "outfit" make it mostly useless. You can change the look whatever you like and you dont need to change it in a apartment anymore.

My personal favourite change is Stealth-Gameplay. It has more meaning by skilling it and dont need the sniper from Panam anymore, which a powerful sniper with silencer and doesnt required to skill stealth before 2.0. A pistol with silencer is by far enough and its smooth to kill the entire group without being detected.

I can't see my character's hair or outfit when riding a bike. I would say that this patch needs to cook some more before I sink my teeth in it.

You know what? That was it, once I removed the outfit the hair came back. Now I just look like crap instead. :D

You know, im a car guy and dont see my character at all (atleast if im not focus on it) and 98% of the game, you dont look yourself until you look at the mirrow (by interacting) or driving a bike

It still need some tweaks, qol improvements and maybe some new stuff to spice up end game if they are up for it. Ive yet to see all thats new and I intend to slowly go through it all. Glad I waited to do the secondary quests, game feels like finally worth going through.

really love the new cops. I was literally getting chased, went into a dead end street then hid behind a corner, i hear gunshots, 2 cars pulled in, some gang war lol and the cops that were after me passed by, it turned into a gang/cop war, i just watched until the end lol and i also lost the star during it.

I like it for the most part. Was excited to try an LMG build but they took off mod slots for LMGs. Does anyone know why they did that?

It's okay, but far from what I'd call a great overhaul.

- The police walking and chases are a nice addition, though I doubt I'll ever bother.
- The gang fights are a great addition to the world.
- The radiant quest are a great addition.
- The progression overhaul is meh and also forced.
- The perks overhaul is okay. I liked the previous more.
- The armor overhaul is both great in that we can wear whatever and meh, in that the armor rating is now pretty useless.
- Leveling up makes no sense with the new progression. Should've just capped the game at level 1 and went horizontal from the start.
- Crafting is better now.

Meh stuff:
- No places to sit.
- No drinking animations.
- No eating animations.
- Only a single minigame added with 2.0 and that was just a extra arcade game.

Overall it's merely okay. Not something that I would say would make this game a masterpiece or anything, but it is an improvement of what the game was; at least mostly.

edit:
Playing wise, it's doable. Not really fun for me since I much prefer the classic progression. I'll be waiting on a mod to re-add the old progression in some way, shape, or form.

ok guys lets be honest has the game changed? yeah but its still buggy so whats the point of putting guns on cars and u cant even drive them correctly? the cars handling is awful.

Mostly good. Like the new perk system - forces me to be much more thoughtful about the perks I pick. Like that clothing doesn't influence armour any more - I can wear whatever I want. Like the new chrome system.

The jury is still out on the auto-levelled enemies. I get why they implemented it but not every random gangbanger encounter needs to be some epic, "cinematic" event. Less impressed about nearly all enemies being bullet sponges.

Firing weapons consuming stamina is an absolutely asinine idea. Get that trash the f**k out of my game. I could at least understand firing heavy weapons such as an LMG or grenade launcher using stamina, but a suppressed pistol using about a quarter of my stamina bar to fire once? Complete and utter stupidity. First mod I install will be to remove that idiotic system from the game.
